With 7 out of 10 of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, and almost 25% of the world’s cranes, Dubai isn’t usually the most visually-pleasing city to look at.
Zohaib Anjum climbed to the 94th floor of the Princess Tower in Dubai, just as dawn was breaking, to take the photos – allowing him to look down upon the city with only its skyscrapers visible.
He took the photos between 4 am and 7 am earlier this month, while the sun was rising and traffic started to build up on the streets below.
‘Seeing the city engulfed in all the fog was surreal and such a serene setting’ said Zohaib, who is 29-years-old.
‘It looked like the fog was running around the towers and it was cool to see how the traffic and street lights illuminated patches so you could see where the roads were laid out,’ he said.
